These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the University of Zambia Engineering Society (UZES) member system ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Who can use the app
The app is intended for students of the UNZA School of Engineering and for UZES executives and administrators. You should register with your own accurate details.
Accounts and approval
- Registration requests are reviewed by the UZES Patron before an account is activated. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in password confidential and for activity under your account.
- You agree to provide truthful information, including a genuine ID for verification.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading content, or files that are not yours to share.
- Do not attempt to access other members' accounts or data, or to disrupt the service.
- Use the elections, payments, and placement features honestly and for their intended purpose.
Payments and receipts
Where the app is used to record payments (such as membership dues), you are responsible for submitting accurate payment information. Receipts issued through the app reflect what was recorded and confirmed by an authorised executive.
Suspension
UZES may suspend or remove an account that is used in breach of these Terms, or where misuse is suspected.
No warranty
The app is provided on an "as is" basis for the society's members. While we aim to keep it available and accurate, UZES does not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
